A Montessori & GT/AIG Basics Magnet for 2013-14

Poe’s Montessori program is based on a child’s developmental need for freedom within limits. Instructional techniques in a carefully prepared environment provide learning experiences designed to develop not only the intelligence of each child, but also their physical and social skills. Students are grouped in classes where small group instruction and peer tutoring optimize individual students’ learning and social growth.

Poe will convert to a GT/AIG Basics (Gifted and Talented/Academically and Intellectually Gifted Basics) magnet theme in the 2013-14 school year. To read more about our program, as well as schedule a tour, please click here.
