Poe Montessori is Wake County Public School System's only Montessori School.

Serving students Pre-K through 5th grade.
Poe's Montessori program is based on a child's developmental need for freedom within limits. Instructional techniques in a carefully prepared environment provide learning experiences designed to develop not only the intelligence of each child but also the child's physical and social skills. Students are grouped in multi-aged, self-contained classes where small group instruction and peer tutoring optimize individual students' learning and social growth.
